Need for louvres that meet balustrade building requirements that can be operated from within and reflect the modern clean flat design theme of this build. The louvres need to comply with both opening and impact requirements for balustrading and therefore no additional balustrading is required. The installation incorporated a cleaver 20mm negative detail to all sides of the frame and the louvres closed in-line with their window reveals to result in a seamless architectural feature. Each louvre bay is managed using a remote control. This adds an edgy contemporary expression to this architectural designed classic Subiaco cottage extension.
