Retractable venetian blinds

External Venetians have the ability to tilt louvres as well as completely retract leaving you with clear open views. Unlike an external blind that is either up or down, the external venetian allows you make minor incremental louvre adjustments to get the best view and light control.

Blinds can be retracted into pelmets made from structural extruded aluminium and finished to any colour specified or housed within a recess created by your builder. The blinds are stabilized with heavy duty stainless steel tension side guide wires or with extruded non-corrosive aluminium alloy side tracks.

Components are designed for our harsh Western Australian conditions. The louvres are made from 0.45mm alloy and are scratch proof, shock and corrosion resistant. Lifting tapes use anti-friction TEXBAND® UV protection tapes and Ladderbraid are made with shrink-resistant reinforced Kevlar.

The blinds are Australian made utilising the most advanced operating systems and machinery, they are well suited for residential and commercial projects.

Our range of external retractable fabric systems are perfect for any application looking to achieve sun and rain protection while maintaining the sense of open space. The range includes freestanding operable shade sails in triangular and rectangular shapes with heavy duty stainless steel fittings, posts and connections.

Power Coating

Is a process of applying a dry powder electrostatically to the surface of the aluminium then cured in an oven under heating conditions. You can select from hundreds of colours offered by Dulux or Interpon.

Anodising

Is a electrochemical process that binds a layer of aluminium oxide to the surface of the aluminium so it becomes ingrained. You can see and feel the texture of the metal, it is also harder than a powder coat finish. Beautiful, deep metallic colours can be achieved with anodising. The process enhances and heightens the natural look of aluminium.

Wood Grains

Heat bonded on to our aluminium louvres this woodgrain finish looks and feels like timber, it is a durable and lower maintenance finish. Because of the aluminium materials used by the Louvretec® product range, our louvres are more durable than timber and not prone to warping, splitting or shrinking in the weather.

Timber frames will absorb light while aluminium louvres reflect it and bounce it around creating a light, airy feel. Wood grain finishes provide a warm classic and timeless look with the assurance of durability.

There are seven wood grain finishes & shades including beautiful, subtle pale timber colours such as light cedar through to reddish, and darker colours such as the popular Black Riverwood.

Controls

Somfy® are the world’s leading supplier of motorisation for automated external shading products. The systems can be incorporated with sensors and timers to allow automatic control of your louvres using on the state-of-the-art, user friendly technology.

Select a range of hand held and wall mounted remote controls and elegant wall switches to suit any decor. Pair with your smartphone or tablet app. Somfy® motors can also be integrated into a Building Management System, such as C-Bus or can be adapted for voice control integration via Amazon Echo and Google Home devices with Somfy Connexoon.
